Library Pals |
Grades 4-6th are invited to apply for a free membership to the Library Pals. They meet from 7:30 a.m. -7:55 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on the grade level. This program supports the TEKS, motivates students, inspires them to help others, and expands their experiences as they try things they wouldn't necessarily be able to try in the classroom. Students are
very excited as they make puppet shows & plays, participate in science experiments, write book reviews, and create museum-like exhibits. Students can join in September and in January. To be in Library Pals, you must maintain good reading grades and exhibit good citizenship skills. A limited amount of space will be available for each grade level. |
