BOXTOPS for Education7292009_121734_0.png
General Mills Corporation writes a check to our school for as many BOXTOPS as we can collect!!!!!! Here is how it works:
*You buy the products and groceries you like at any grocery store.
 *Check those products for BOXTOPS.
*Each BOXTOP turned in to the school brings 10 cents to the school.
*It's great because unlike any "fundraiser", you are buying what you want and     normally get anyway, but some of the proceeds will actually be returned to the    school.
*Click on this link to learn more!

A note from  your Nurse
FLU PREVENTION
Regarding Type A Flu or the H1n1 Virus...
Tis the season for flu-in spite of the inconsistent weather we have had lately. They say that we have a risk of getting the flu up until April. In addition to flu shots, there are some other things that we can do to keep us healthy and minimize the risks of getting colds or flu this winter.
+ wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds. That is how long it would take to sing Happy Birthday.
+cough into your elbow instead of your hands. It keeps us from spreading germs on our hands.
+disinfect 'touchy areas'. They say that children can touch up to 300 surfaces in 30 minutes.Wipe down knobs, handles, desk and counter tops, faucets and oodles more places.
+ Eat healthy, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
