After School Snack Program

Students attending tutoring and Sharp after school are given a nutritious snack at no cost.

CUERO ISD CHARGE POLICY

High School and Junior High students are NOT allowed to charge. JCF, Hunt and CIS are allowed ONLY TWO CHARGES. An alternative meal will be provided to those students who have an outstanding balance (sandwich & milk). Please call Sandra Hernandez @ 275-3132 if you have any questions.

Cuero ISD is a part of the USDA National School Breakfast and Lunch programs and offers free or reduced meals to those who qualify.  Application forms are available from your student's front office at anytime.  Please understand that new applications must be completed and returned for approval each school year.  All information disclosed on the application is kept confidential.  Please call James Coburn at 275-2484 if you have any questions regarding the application process.

ATTENTION PARENTS: IF THERE HAS BEEN A DECREASE TO YOUR HOUSEHOLD INCOME, PLEASE FILL OUT A NEW FREE/REDUCED APPLICATION. Applications are available at each campus.

Any individual who believes they have been discriminated against with regards to the Child Nutrition Program offered by the Cuero Independent School District, may contact the Cuero Independent School Food Service Director to obtain a written complaint form.  The form is turned is to be turned into the Food Service Director.  The Food Service Director will turn the completed written form into the Administrative Assistant's office.  The Administrative Assistant will send the original copy to the Texas Department of Agriculture, keep a copy on file according to the Federal Records Management Regulations, and provide the Superintendent if Cuero Independent School District with a copy of the complaint.
